Tell us about yourself and your area of expertise?
I was attuned as a Reiki channel in 1998 and had been primarily working on myself and my immediate family and friends until 2016 when I established my Healing practice. I’m a qualified Reiki Master/Teacher and an NLP Practitioner. Together with group guided meditations, 121 Reiki and energy healing sessions and 121 coaching, it has been a lovely journey in helping people reconnect with themselves while releasing layers of unwanted impressions, thoughts, and limited beliefs. In a previous life, I worked in corporate America heading CAD operations as well as ran my own business in fashion and home textiles.
Having lived and worked in many cultures with the primary focus of providing the best client experience, I can easily and naturally connect with the core values and desires of people I work with. Helping them focus on their personal and career goals and re-working their energy of thoughts and inhibitions and creating positive, lasting results are my strengths.
What are the benefits associated with Guided Meditations?
The benefits are numerous starting with having a companion to meditate with. Having someone guide you and be with you in that time.
Our subconscious mind is very powerful and creative and it is important to harness these qualities into positive suggestions, thoughts, words. There are over 37 trillion cells in your body which regulate and connect all your internal systems that keep you alive and functional, such as the cardiovascular (heart), endocrine gland, respiratory, nervous, immune, circulatory, digestive, lymphatic (detoxing), muscular, skeletal, reproductive and urinary systems. This is truly impressive and should never taken for granted.
By harnessing this powerhouse the affect of meditation and guided meditation is to first create the peace and stillness within us. Meditation helps quiet the mind and the body making space for positive messages to vibrate through our body and all the systems mentioned above. This helps our cells renew. You feel healthier, empowered in your own wellness, clear in your mind, radiant.
Can anyone meditate?
Anyone who WANTS to meditate can meditate. There are many techniques of meditations out there and you should take the time to understand them and see which practice and which teacher you best resonate with to help you reach your meditation goals.
Meditations can be done several times in a day and usually for a minimum of 5 minutes but usually no longer than 20 minutes each time. It’s a good habit to meditate first thing in the morning, or at the end of the day and whenever you need to clear mind fog or overwhelm during the day.
Meditation is a deep subject to speak about, there are so many facets to learning how to master it. It’s important to be kind to yourself as you begin any practice and be consistent with it The mind cannot and should not be ‘controlled’ in the beginning. It is imperative that you are coached in a practice if you’ve never meditated before.
Guided meditations can be attempted and followed any time with a trusted expert.
